In a capitalistic culture like ours, we were taught from a young age that our talents are only valuable if they lead to an income. Many of us grew up not knowing what our gifts were, or being taught to forget the fact that we had any.
Every organism in an ecosystem has an important role to fill, and that is true for you as well. You have unique perspectives, talents, and desires that want to be cultivated–regardless of whether or not they’re connected to how you earn money.
When we don’t know what our gifts are, or are too afraid to claim them, it’s very difficult to see the world as the enchanted, gifted place that it is. We can more easily forget the beauty of life and become seduced by the idea that we’re meant to toil, compete, find what little joy we can, and then die.
We want more for you.
In this workshop set in the vibrant Springtime, we’ll be inviting you to recognize and reclaim the gifts and talents that you came into this lifetime with.
In doing so, you can more fully inhabit your undeniably important place in the greater ecosystems of which you’re a part.
