“…The hushed globe will wait and wait for
what is now so small and slow to
open it again…”

Who is Forest Therapy for?
Every one of us can benefit from Forest Therapy (also known as Forest Bathing) - from nourishing an intimate, reciprocal relationship with the world around us. As a regular practice, it can be incredibly beneficial (learn more here). Some liken it to meditation, yoga, dance, and other practices in which we create an intentional time to pay close attention to our internal and external landscapes.
People who struggle with silent meditation and other mindfulness practices sometimes find Forest Bathing a gentler, more accessible experience.
Time with the land can settle and soothe our hearts, minds, spirits, bodies, and nervous systems - or simply give us space to sit with what is. Forest Therapy is a space to honor and support life-cycle events - to be with the shifting shades and colors and fabric of life.
Ready to schedule?
You can do that right here.
People come to Forest Bathing for:
Somatic support: to reconnect with and care for the precious bodies that are our lives
Seasons of grief: of all kinds. In addition to privately scheduled support, I often offer sessions specifically for grieving people - because sometimes it’s helpful to be with other grievers
Experiencing (in)fertility, miscarriage, or other family expansion challenges
Living with acute or chronic health issues: including advanced serious illness or terminal diagnoses. If an outdoor walk is not accessible, I offer remotely-guided sessions, which offer all the benefits of Forest Therapy and can be done indoors.
Supporting the work for liberation, justice, and the world to come: Caring for the body and spirit while working to dismantle whiteness, patriarchy, capitalism, and other violent and oppressive systems
Queer/Trans support, resilience, and joy: in addition to privately scheduled Forest Therapy, I often offer Forest Bathing specifically for LGBTQ2S+ people (and those questioning/clarifying)
Celebration: Coming together to celebrate birthdays, engagements, a beautiful life lived, children entering the family, and more
I guide individuals, duos, groups, families, and teams. Making Forest Therapy accessible in every possible way is my priority. When you register for your session, please let me know how I can support access for you. I offer a sliding scale to make my services as accessible and equitable as possible.
Forest Therapy and mobility
Guided Forest Bathing is a practice that creates space to be slow, and to drop into our bodies within a trauma sensitive container. Forest Therapy offers many opportunities to sit, lay on the ground, and move slowly - in fact, the entire experience can be done sitting (or in whatever position(s) works best). Most importantly, this practice is based in invitations. This means that each person decides what works for their body. Agency and autonomy, held within relationship with self and Other, are the roots from which Forest Therapy grows. Differing mobility needs are expected and welcome.
All are welcomed and cherished.
Solo, groups, and more
I offer options for different types of guided Forest Therapy. You may wish to be guided solo, or with two or more people. Each has its benefits. Many people enjoy the experience of dropping deeply into time with themselves and with the living world during a solo Forest Bathing experience. Many also enjoy the connection that happens when we come together after each invitation to share in a group. You will find these options on my scheduling page. If you’re not sure what is right for you in this moment, please reach out to discuss options.
